June 30 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm UTC+0
A Good Conversation can shift the direction of change forever… But first you need to start it!
In this series of conversations we will explore topics from industries within and outside of Events and Meetings.
How do creative professionals in other industries address important challenges like: managing creative teams across hierarchy, communicating needs vs wants, unlocking innovation and most importantly, becoming a confident creative professional?
Participants will actively engage in a dialogue with each other (it is not a passive lecture series) around the topics facilitated by Anthony Vade and Hosted by Kevin Molesworth
All proceeds from this session go towards the Creative Safe Space (facebook group) EDC Scholarship Fund.
Funds will be awarded to a Creative Safe Facebook Group Members to undertake Event Design Certificate Program or purchase resources from the tool store.
Scholarship application process and detail available to those who attend 1 or more conversations in this 4 part series.
CONSTRAINT MY FRIEND: often creative professionals see constraint as their enemy. Forcing them to compromise their artistic vision and limiting their creative output. In their critically acclaimed book A Beautiful Constraint Adam Morgan and Mark Barden explore the idea that constraint can actually be of benefit to a designer. Supercharging possibilities as a limitation becomes slingshots for innovation. But before we can start leveraging Constraint as a benefit. How do we understand constraint, manage it and help the people around us see it for what it is, an opportunity to explore something new and unlock fresh possibilities.
